The St André Parish Church

This church was built in 1864 on an old church site whose condition was really poor with insufficient capacity for the inhabitants. This construction participated in the religious revival of the XIXth century where many churches were rebuilt, with the help of the Administration and the Ministry of Cults (about forty in Vaucluse). Built in a Neo-Romanesque style, it is of poor architectural interest. At the end of the XIXth century, the rural exodus and the shifting of the center of the village to the foot of the hill participated to the abandon of this church by the inhabitants. From the old church in the new bell tower remain the big bell blessed in 1780 and two other bells from the beginning of the XIXth century.
